Norwalk Radiology & Mammography Center provides a full spectrum of CT imaging examinations. CT scans provide detailed cross-sectional images and diagnostic information for nearly every part of the body that cannot be accommodated by conventional x-ray studies.
Our radiologists plan each CT exam based on the individual patient's medical needs. The entire procedure takes less than 30 minutes and requires no sedation. Usually there is no recovery or observation period following the exam and patients can resume their daily activity. Our computer-linked teleradiology system allows for images to be shared with Norwalk Hospital for comparison with prior exams or for clinical staff review.
At Norwalk Radiology & Mammography Center, we are accredited by the American College of Radiology in multiple modalities including CT (computed tomography). We have voluntarily gone through a rigorous review process to meet nationally accepted standards.
