About Us - Caring And Professional Staff

Our staff is caring and professional and committed to serving our patients with respect and compassion. Each patient receives individualized attention and care for his or her specific exam needs.

Our Radiologists are certified by the American Board of Radiology with subspecialization in Neuroradiology, Interventional Radiology, and Nuclear Medicine, and with advanced training in CT, Ultrasound, MRI, and Mammography. Our Radiologists have met and maintain the strict credentialing standards of Norwalk Hospital, as well as, the continuing medical education requirements.

Three or four Board Certified Radiologists are in the Center at all times and are actively involved in the care of our patients during their exams. The Radiologists are "hands on", providing guidance to the technologists when needed and monitoring each study to ensure that it is clinically complete. While you are still in the Center, the Radiologist may want to obtain further views or perform another test to obtain additional clinical information. This close monitoring can avoid the need for return appointments. Our Radiologists are always available for physician consultation or patient needs. Preliminary exam results are communicated promptly to your referring physician and a written report is sent within a few days.

The professional staff of technologists performing the exams are licensed and registered with specialized training certification.

We are continually upgrading our equipment and are committed to providing the most advanced imaging technology. All diagnostic equipment is calibrated and maintained on a scheduled basis in accordance with the strictest quality assurance standards.
